Hello, Healthy!
Let’s talk protein powder! We’ve already talked about the benefits of using protein powder here but now that you have it sitting in your pantry, I want to give you ideas for using it beyond smoothies! You can add some into your coffee, if you have chocolate it gives it a nice mocha flavor without all the sugar of chocolate syrup. Be sure to dissolve your protein in some hot water before adding so it mixes in properly. You can also add it to oatmeal! I love oatmeal and the health benefits of it, especially in the winter, but I’m usually hungry again a couple of hours later. A scoop of protein powder helps get you all the way through your morning without feeling hungry again until lunchtime. Speaking of lunchtime, I often run out of ideas for what to pack in a lunch, so the always delicious PB&J is a go-to. As a way to shake things up a bit, you can mix your peanut butter with some protein powder. It gives it a different flavor and adds a few more nutrients to an old favorite. Looking for a healthy snack? No-bake cookies are a popular treat but you can replace them with protein balls for a similar flavor but much less sugar and pack them with healthy ingredients, including some protein powder!
Have you found any creative ways to use protein powder? We’d love to hear them! And if you haven’t tried the S’UPP protein powder yet, be sure to grab some here! It comes in chocolate or vanilla and you can choose the whey or the vegan version!
